Eye M.D. Education Mission Statement:

The Connecticut Society of Eye Physicians (CSEP), through its continuing education programs, is committed to advancing the highest standards of eye care, and to protecting and improving the eye health and vision of our communities. The semi-annual scientific education programs of CSEP are designed for ophthalmologists and their staff to learn about recent advances in the diagnosis and management of eye diseases and conditions, offered through symposia, scientific papers, posters and videos. The target audience of CSEP includes ophthalmologists, ophthalmic technicians, practice managers, and physicians-in-training. CSEP programs are designed to meet the educational needs of its members and the objectives set forth by the CSEP Education Committee. CSEP activities range from didactic lectures to participatory activities, which are approved for CME credit when appropriate. CSEP recommends that its target audience will incorporate into their daily practice the best practices presented. Specific competency, performance and patient outcome goals from each CSEP program are proposed by the presenters and evaluated by its target audience.
